Venus Effect is a rock band based in Athens, Greece, known for their distinctive sound blending rock, alternative rock, and metal influences. The band has made a name for themselves in the local music scene, actively performing at various venues and organizing concerts that showcase their raw energy and musical versatility. One of the pivotal moments in the band's journey was their victory at the annual band competition held at Remedy. Winning the competition motivated them to record their debut LP, "Venus Effect" at CFN Recordings Studio which was released in April 2025. In May 2025, the band reached the most significant milestone of their career so far, winning the Rockwave band contest and securing the opening slot for Opeth at Terra Republic.
Οι Venus Effect είναι μια rock μπάντα με έδρα την Αθήνα, με ξεχωριστό ήχο και επιρροές από είδη όπως η alternative rock και η metal. Το συγκρότημα κερδίζει φήμη στη τοπική μουσική σκηνή, καθώς δραστηριοποιείται ενεργά με εμφανίσεις που αναδεικνύουν την ακατέργαστη ενέργεια και δυναμική τους. Καθοριστική για το συγκρότημα αποτέλεσε η νίκη τους στον ετήσιο διαγωνισμό συγκροτημάτων που διοργανώθηκε στο Remedy τον Μάιο του 2024. Η νίκη αυτή τους ενέπνευσε να ηχογραφήσουν το ντεμπούτο άλμπουμ τους με τίτλο "Venus Effect" στο CFN Recordings Studio το οποίο κυκλοφόρησε τον Απρίλιο του 2025. Τον Μάιο του 2025, το συγκρότημα πέτυχε το σημαντικότερο ορόσημο της μέχρι τώρα πορείας του, κερδίζοντας τον διαγωνισμό συγκροτημάτων του Rockwave και εξασφαλίζοντας τη θέση του opening act για τους Opeth στο Terra Republic.
